Matt joined Venture West Funding in the summer of 2011 as an associate of Matt Douglas, the company's principal and top producer. With a background in real estate finance, he brings a solid perspective to the business and has learned how to underwrite, analyze, and originate financing primarily in the multi-family segment of Venture West Funding's business.
Originally from St. Louis, MO, Matt earned his bachelor's degree in real estate finance from the University of Southern California. Upon graduating he spent time working in the sports industry for the United Football League and the NHL's St. Louis Blues. His desire to be back on the west coast and begin a career in real estate brought him to Venture West Funding. |

Jean-Marc joined Venture West Funding in 2001. During this time, Jean-Marc has been a solid contributor, consistently increasing his loan volume each year, and has established an extensive network of community partners, particularly real estate developers and investors. In 2010, he originated 35 loans totaling over $46 million in Commercial, Multi-family and Single Family Residential loan volume. For 2011, he is expected to once again exceed his previous loan volume and has set a goal of $70 million.
Prior to joining Venture West Funding, Jean-Marc had a successful 13-year career in real estate sales with Colliers Seeley International, specializing in commercial leasing and sales of freeway frontage properties. While at Colliers Seeley, he was awarded the Largest Investment Transaction for his brokering of the $80 million sale of Centerpointe La Palma, a 600,000 square foot office project.
Jean Marc earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from the University of Southern California. He is a supporter of The Tartikoff Foundation and a previous director, in which he organized fundraising events that generated more than $20 million for cancer research for the Revlon/UCLA Women's Cancer Research Program. |

Loren was born in Calcutta, India and has lived in various cities throughout the Midwest and East Coast. She moved to LA from Detroit in 2005 when she joined Venture West Funding.
Loren studied Business for a year at Loyola University Chicago in 2001 and went on to graduate summa cum laude with her Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2005. She is a licensed real estate professional and Founder and C.E.O. of United Food Movement, a non-profit organization.
Loren is a self-motivated and incredibly driven individual. She attributes her sharp edge and forthright business practice to her private education and to her mother's strong moral fiber. She prides herself on her value system and believes that the key to success in this industry is honest hard work and a deep sensitivity to client's needs.

Andy joined VWF in 2004 in the Construction Division underwriting, analyzing and originating construction loans. He has spent the last 3 years in income producing property specializing in apartment and commercial financing and has been involved in over $225 million in loan transactions. At Venture West Funding, Andy specializes in commercial (office building, mixed use, special purpose building, and land loans) and multi-family financing. His primary responsibilities are those of an analyst and loan originator seeing deals through from start to finish. Andy is dedicated to finding the best loan programs for his clients and to maintain long term relationships by providing excellent service and product knowledge.
Andy attended Cal Poly Pomona on a basketball scholarship and graduated cum laude with a bachelors of science in Business Administration and an emphasis in sales and marketing. He holds his California Real Estate License.

Wes is well versed in government sponsored lending programs in addition to conventional commercial bank programs.
